We just hosted our first tournament for Yu-Gi-Oh, while it might not have been too big it was certainly interesting and fun!

Man, my first tournament being hosted certainly had me nervous for a bit, but once I got started I certainly loved it and I hoped those who joined us loved it too!
I hope everyone comes again when we are officially partnered up with Konami! :)
Now, to follow up on what I announced earlier ( ͡• ͜ʖ ͡•)
Once we partner up with OTS we can start hosting minor tournaments each week for box prizing, we will be organizing leader boards for each month to see who our best topper for the local is per month! To explain, each minor and major tournament we host, we will tally all of your points continuously until the end of the month.
Our best local player with the most amount of points on the leader boards will receive prizing at the end of the month for managing to hold first place!
As for the future Starlight Tournaments, we plan to host those once every end of the month, as for the starlight in prizing it will be dependent on how many people we can get signed up early. The person who wins the starlight tournament will be ranked as the Monarch, meaning every time they come to a minor tournament or starlight tournament they will receive ADDITIONAL entry prizing. HOWEVER, as the Monarch of the starlight tournament, when the next starlight tournament arises, you as the Monarch will have to face the top player constantly regardless of your score (this wont happen in regular weekly tournaments, only in the end of the month one).
Even if you go 0-4 your next opponent will be that 4-0 player, however, your opponent player will change constantly from the top ( you will not be facing the same person twice in a row). I'm not sure how far I'll take this, but in the future, if the Monarch can stay in power for 3 months or more, maybe some more nice prizing might come ¯\_( ͡• ‿‿ ͡•)_/¯
